SIMULATION OF NATURAL FREQUENCIES AND FORCED OSCILLATION MAGNITUDES OF A VERTICAL MILLING MACHINE

The article demonstrate the technique for modeling form of natural oscillations, as well amplitude and mode forced oscillations HAAS VF-1 vertical milling machine. As initial data, a publicly available 3D model load-bearing elements, information on mass dimensions spindle motor are used. In preparation simulation, original solid is idealized by removing small chamfers, fillets, diameter holes. Movable joints with linear rolling guides ball bearings replaced rigid joints, since vibration damping in these units not considered. During first ten frequencies largest values oscillation obtained. second simulation shows, influence drive layout (coaxial installation electric through cam clutch or connection using toothed belt transmission) additional devices dissipating energy (mass structural dampers elements articulated plastic bushings) revealed magnitude steady-state that may occur during processing part.
